Our speed
dating events provide the ideal opportunity for single
people like you to get together and meet each other in a
friendly, no pressure environment. We set up an event in
advance for a certain age group, at a certain location,
and then post it on our website. Anyone who wants to
join the event can sign up and we will reserve them a
spot.
On the event date, everybody meets at the venue and is
greeted by your host (ess) for the evening. The host
will show you where to sit and give you a name badge and
"scorecard". You will be given the opportunity to unwind
at the bar whilst the Aashanti host runs-through how
speed dating works and answers any questions you may
have before the dating session begins.

You will
get to have “mini-dates” with everyone at the event. The
girls sit at the table that matches their attendee
numbers first. The guys then follow. The host rings a
bell when it's time for the guys to move on to the next
date (and of course show you which table to move to)
with the girls staying at their table. Everything is
arranged for you, so you do not have to feel
uncomfortable approaching someone and wondering if they
are interested.
During the event, everyone fills out the "scorecard"
that will tell the host who they are interested in. When
the event has finished, you need to give the host your
card with your choices marked on it. The next day, the
host will contact you by your preferred method and let
you know who you "matched" with i.e. where both parties
showed an interest in each other at the event. The next
day you will receive contact infor mation for your
matches, so there is no asking for phone numbers, it
will be done for you, and only the singles you liked
(that also liked you) will get your contact info!
